Vintage Southwestern 18kt & Sterling Gold Boulder Turquoise Ring, Sz. 5.5, 25+TCW.  Likely a custom-made ring with a large turquoise with brown matrix which I believe is a Boulder Turquoise from Royston Mines.  Not an expert on turquoise but it is what matches the best. Large 26mm by 20mm oval cabochon set in heavy 18kt gold with a bottom setting to the ring in sterling.  Weight of the ring is appx. 10.75 grams.  The stone is a minimum of 25 TCW. Set with four wide prongs.  The ring is not marked but it's been tested repeatedly - tests strong at 18kt and mildly at 22 kt.  It is not marked or signed.  The stone does have a little movement and should be readjusted by a jeweler.  It can be worn as is but it would be best to prevent the stone from moving.  This is otherwise in very good condition. Great estate find.  Statement ring and will be noticed when worn - also more unusual to have gold with turquoise than all silver.  Age is unknown but does appear to be mid 1900's-1960's though it could be older.  The band is rounded and appx. 1.7mm.  It has the sterling  raised bezel-like undercarriage on the button of the stone and four gold prongs that are thinner at the base and widen where they hold the turquoise.  (INV.
